Is Gerard Pique(Defender) a valuable player to Fc Barcelona?

Gerard Pique is known as a Central Defender and plays for Fc Barcelona and is also married  to the famous Colombian Singer Shakira. Pique is widely known as one of the best center backs in the world and he has an overall rating of 88. He is known for slide tackles, positioning and discipline in the football universe. On May 27th, 2008 Gerard Pique joined Barcelona on from that day forward he has just kept Fc Barcelona's defense as a WALL. Recently, he renewed his contract with Barca in which would keep him there until 2024, as of now he is in good form although he doesn't have his best defenders around him such as Samuel Umtiti and Javier Masherano.


In the 2017/18 football season, Gerard Pique was in excellent form by keeping the Barca team with 23 clean sheets out of 40 games which is atleast 50% of their games.But in that same season Fc Barcelona suffered a lose to As Roma on aggregate 4-4 in which issued questions to the football universe.....Does barcelona have a good or bad defense? Pique went on to speak at a press conference after the match and said," We are Barca and we won't give up!" After in the 2018/19 season they(Fc Barcelona) blew a 3-goal advantage over their opponent and lost the match on aggregate 3-4, this had shocked the world knowning that Barca had a huge advantage and soon later a recently ended season of 2019/20, Fc Barcelona had lost again in the Champions League, this now has become a problem so Pique voluntered himself to the Barcelona Board that he would leave the club if changes in the squad is needed.


Now in the season 2020/21, Gerard Pique is still at Fc Barcelona although he said he would leave if changes are needed but the board sold other players to fix their problem in which this shows the Gerard Pique is a valuable asset to the Fc Barcelona team. #pique#barcanews

    My thoughts on this is that I think that pique was going to leave Barcelona for the better meant of the club but the club apparently saw other options rather than not selling him🤔

Is Marc-Andre Ter Stegen really One of The Best Goalkeepers in the World?

  Marc Andre Ter Stegen is known for his great saves with his feet and hands and is an important player in the Fc Barcelona squad and is also on of the top three best goalkeepers in the world.
